Attic Insulation
For a lot of people, the attic is not an area of their home that they are going to visit frequently. The same thing can be said about basements and they share the same need to have proper insulation. The reason that we mention the fact that people don’t usually go up there is because most people really have no idea what they need to do to keep their attic in decent shape and what could happen if they don’t keep their attic in decent shape. So we want to go through a couple of scenarios and you let you know what we can do to help you out in each of them.
Mold Be Gone We wanted to lead off with this because we think that we don’t mention it enough at times. Moisture and mold are right up there as the two most important adversaries of any type of insulation. They really go hand in hand because moisture is going to be what ultimately develops mold. With spray foam insulation though you are not going to need to worry about mold. This type of insulation does not contribute to creating that damp enclosed environment that allows mold to develop. We are sure that some of you are sold already! There Is Really No Expiration Date With a lot of the other insulation alternatives that are out there you know going in that whatever it is that you are going to be using at that point in time is going to eventually fade and you are going to have to redo the work. It may be in 10 years or 20 years, but sooner or later you are going to have to redo it. This is just not the case with foam. Foam does not deteriorate so technically you can leave it on for as long as you need it. It Makes The Area “Friendly” Attics are always those dark and grim places where all of the scary stories start. No writer has ever thought about starting a scary story in a well light room that felt very comfortable to be in. With foam insulation, you can get rid of the dark loamy place. The temperature is probably going to be just right. There is no reason for an attic with this type of insulation to be a wet and damp place. That is the first thing that we are trying to avoid. Our goal is that going to the attic for you will no longer be creepy or disgusting in any way. What If I Have Another Type Of Insulation? This question applies to virtually any of the services that we offer so that is why we felt it was so important to address it. There is really no problem with us if you have another type of insulation. We are just simply going to have to remove it and then add the spray foam insulation. There is really not much more to it than that. |
